CNC Machining Process for Rotors

Our rotor CNC machining process ensures high precision and quality. The requirements include ensuring the rotor outer circle and bearing position are coaxial, with dimensions and roughness meeting the specifications. No burred teeth or skewing in the core teeth are allowed.

We usually use horizontal lathes to cut the rotor iron core. To prevent burrs, the tool edge is sharpened with a larger rake angle, reducing radial cutting resistance.

The cutting speed and depth must not be too large, and the feed rate should not exceed the thickness of a single punching sheet to avoid excessive stress and damage to the rotor laminations.

To ensure the cutting quality of the outer circle of the rotor core and improve productivity, the special lathe for the outer circle cutting of the motor rotor and the advanced carbide disk turning tool have been used for fine turning.
